SS4LS secured an additional partner, Food Forward SA, to improve the quantity and quality of meals that are being provided to learners. Our current partners are the Department of Agriculture, Lukhanyo Urban Farming Network (LUFN) and the Rotary Club.
SS4LS partnered Kerria Primary, one of the Sport Skills For Life Skills partner schools, with the Stroebel Foundation in cultivating a vegetable garden project at the John Stroebel Educare Centre. The John Stroebel Educare Centre is a source of many learners for Kerria Primary (Grade R). Learners are educated and form part of the crop cultivation before moving on to primary school.
